Description
We Upset Kings
From the northern moors came Syr Moorbane, his House woven steadfast and true. For good and ill, through famine and fortune, Moorbane spun his fate thread by thread, never gaudy, never idle.
In the early dawn of the Realm, Moorbane stood among the founding lords. His seat was no marble citadel but a working stronghold raised on the craft of wool — ancient, wind-scoured, and alive with endeavour. There, through mist and rain, the bluff calls of his weavers and spinners rang loud, more warming to Moorbane than the flatteries of any mere king.
Moorbane had once risen high, first among the Realm. But his levies shrank, his wealth withered, and his banners fell low. So began the years of hardship — none darker than the day when Syr Anlach’s spear near struck his heart, leaving his House hanging by a thread.
Yet Moorbane lived, and cast his colours once more across the Realm. Many a lofty lord who deemed him lesser has found his pride broken on those wily moors. His strength rests not in vast hosts nor overflowing coffers, but in the rough hands and stubborn hearts that raise his banner still.
