Our Guns Prevail
From the eastern forges of the Old City came Syr Gunne, who carried with him the armouries of his house when he raised his hall anew beside the North Gate. It rose formidable — more arsenal than palace — its vaults brimming with power enough to humble kings.
Gunne bore no shield, for his cannons were his defence — fearsome devices that needed no mark. His arsenal answered every challenge with thunder, volleys so precise and unrelenting they seemed guided by fate itself.
His mighty host, clad in red and white, wielded their martial craft with such skill that at their height they were invincible. To stand against them was to feel the very earth tremble beneath the roar of their bombards, to know citadels would fall and armies scatter when the guns awoke. He struck not in frenzy but with an assured inevitability, unleashing devastation that few could withstand.
Thus was Syr Gunne known: forged in the eastern quarter of the Old City, enthroned at the North Gate, a lord among the greatest — feared across the realm for his battle mastery, the ruin his volleys could bring, and the vow that endures: Our Guns Prevail.
